Community investment and revitalization is the best thing we can do to stabilize our own neighborhoods and communities. Revitalization creates jobs provides opportunities for residents who otherwise don't have adequate access to goods and services. Quality self development promotes the recycling of economic dollars and growth in otherwise poor, distressed and crime filled neighborhoods.  Traditional subsidize developments only goes so far. Although it has its place, corporate development does not recycle funds back into the community and raise the economic base of the constituents.
